It has been said that certain hairstyles are able to accentuate certain face shapes. On the contrary, wearing the wrong hairstyle will result in the shape showing its flaws. With that in mind, I will share some oval face hairstyles with you.
Oval face shapes are said to be the most versatile with many haircuts suitable for the wearer. You can wear it short or long, straight or wavy/curly. Having mentioned that, pick an oval face hairstyle that will bring out the best features of your face. For example, go for an angular bob if you have wonderful bone structure that will show off your chin. On the other hand, side-swept or blunt bangs are great if you have gorgeous eyes.
Generally, if you have an oval-shaped face, you would want to go for haircuts with some form of bangs. You can also go for sophisticated bobs such as the one mentioned above (angular bob). In addition to this, long beachy waves will also work well with if you have a classic oval face.
Now that I've shown you what to wear, I will share a little on what NOT to wear. First and foremost, avoid short layers (go for long layers if you want it layered). If you have curly or thick hair, avoid blunt cuts which will make your face look like a pyramid. If you have curly hair, avoid short hair. Instead, grow it up to your shoulder to have the curls weigh down.
